Raid Pavia Venezia 2025
The Pavia-Venice Raid is an international motorboat competition reserved for various categories of light motorboats, which starts in Pavia on the Ticino River, crosses the Po River and ends in the Venice Lagoon after 413km. It is considered the longest and oldest motorboat competition in inland waters in the world; the first edition took place on 6 June 1929.
It was a fantastic experience to follow the Dutch team composed of the Korteland brothers (Jan-Cees and Paul) together with their boat built by Bernico, who, with a time of 2:41:43 and an average speed of 130,60 KM/H, won first place in their category and seventh place in the overall ranking.
